The 1625 “Coronation” (First Year of The Reign) Shilling is a greatly difficult coin to find in any condition, so to see an example as good as this is extremely unusual.

SIXPENCE. (S.2805) mm Lis (1625) Ex-RARE. VF/GVF.

The 1625 Sixpence is a well known “classic rarity” and I actually can’t remember ever having another example at any time since 1977. Some of these coins have only survived in tiny numbers and hardly ever become available.
