This stunning portrait piece is one of the best examples of a Caligulan As that you could possibly wish for. The coin has a seriously rare & fully medallic strike on a perfectly circular planchette which also exhibits an incredibly well struck legend and full edge denticulation on both obverse & reverse. Totally original with a deep brown glossy patina.

When this coin was lost it had probably only been in circulation for a few weeks in the mid 1st century.
